This course for key duty holders under the Construction (Design and Management) Regulations 2007 will give delegates an understanding of the legal requirements of their role.
Who should attend?
This course is designed for anyone appointed as a key duty holder under CDM who conducts their understanding as client, designer, principal contractor, contractor or self employed person. The course is designed to enhance a management approach with regard to specific duties and responsibilities as outlined in CDM and associated guidance.

Duration of Course:
The course runs over a 1 Day period and is up to 7 ½ to 8 hours depending on the number of delegates attending the course.
Maximum Participants:
To ensure that all delegates receive the maximum benefit from our training courses, delegate places are limited to 12 per course.
Instructor:
The instructor for this course will be a certified instructor with over 12 years’ experience in Health & Safety related training.
Instructors are periodically assessed by our own quality control assessor, the client should be aware of this quality control assessment could be carried out without prior notice being given to the client.
Equipment required:
This course requires a training area/room with the facilities to comfortably accommodate the maximum number of delegates. The delegates will require a table and equipment to make notes and the instructor needs power and a place to show a presentation.
Assessment:
Throughout the course there is a constant assessment by the instructor who will ask questions about what he has covered in the course, some may be theoretical or some may be practical. At the end of the course there is a 30 question multiple choice paper to be completed by all delegates. A pass mark of 72% is set for all delegates.
Certificate:
All delegates that succeed with the course will receive an A4 certificate of attendance that will be valid for 3 years.
